She was predeceased by: her parents, Herta Sawall (Neumann) and Heinrich Neumann; her stepfather Reinhold Sawall; and her sister Gerda Dickau. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Cuhel; her daughters, Kari Zins (Rick), Robyn Frank (Dave) and Carla Jurgens; and her brothers, George Neumann (Evelyn) and Volker Neumann (Gisela). She is also survived by six grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
Despite the many difficult circumstances she experienced in her lifetime, including an Alzheimer's diagnosis two years ago, she was always joyful and optimistic.
