She was predeceased by: her parents, Melford Youngberg and Doris Youngberg; and her sisters, Donna Schauer and Ardell Olson. She is survived by: her husband Wes; her sons, Tim Marks (Jackie) and Jeff Marks (Tia); her grandchildren, Spencer Marks, Hannah Egeberg (Noah), Braden Marks, Maggie Marks, Emelia Vereide (Caleb) and Fletcher Marks; her great grandchild Judah Egeberg; and her sister Judy Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edina Chapel (5000 W 50th St, Edina, MN 55436). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in honor of Marlys are preferred to Wooddale Church for BrighterFutures.Life.
