He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Swanson and Ruth Swanson; his sisters, Deloris, Lois and Joyce; and his sons, Steven and Drue.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Beto (Les), Randy Swanson (LouJean), Mitchel Swanson (Cindy) and Marty Swanson (Kerrie); and his brother Curtis (Catherine). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Chapel (2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
