She is survived by: her friend Sargent Ave; her siblings, Joseph (Marie), Josephine Pedro (Carl), Rocco (Lorraine) and Lucille Smith (Alfred); and her stepchildren, Gil, Deb Waibel, Alan, Becky Waibel and Ron Waibel.
Among her many contributions to the community, Mary was noted for single handedly organizing the Humanities Series of Lectures, on-site presentations that featured over 80 speakers across all topics of human interest to share with fellow residents.
