With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Kim Wong of Minneapolis, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Kim left this world on May 8, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, King Ying Chu and Tai Hop Ma; her husband Albert Wing Juen Wong; her son Thomas Wong; and her children-in-law, Steve Wasserman and Susan Wong.
She is survived by: her children, Chilly Lin, John Wong, Gary Wong, Linda Chin and Mona Wong (Melinda McGowan). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
She made twice-weekly visits to the Wasie Pool for around 15 years until it closed during the pandemic, and she very much enjoyed all the friends that she had there.
