She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rifenrath and Selma Rifenrath; her husband Kevin; her siblings, Henry, Erven, Irene, Dorothy and Carl; her granddaughters, Megan McGuire and Jessica McGuire; and her great grandchild Ember J David.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. "Patti" McGuire, Mary M. "Peg" Baker (William), Kevin B. McGuire (Julie), Michael "Mike" McGuire (Carol), Terrence J. "TJ" McGuire and Patrick F. McGuire. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the McGuire Family Home (119 6th Ave W, Cresco, IA 52136). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Parish (223 2nd Ave E, Cresco, IA 52136).
