With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Max Daniel Lai (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Max left this world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 35, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sing Wah Lai, Tsui Fong Cheng, Samuel Wong and Julia Cheung; and his uncles, Sai Kit Chan and Andrew Wong.

He is survived by: his parents, Amy Wong and Ken Lai; his siblings, Victor Lai and Amanda Lai; and his brother-in-law David Graveline.

He was deeply caring and always ready to lend a hand, whether supporting coworkers in the kitchen or preparing meals for charity during the height of the pandemic.
