He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGee and Gertrude McGee; his uncle John; and his aunt Carol Kujawa. He is survived by: his wife Lauri (Hawthorne); his daughters, Erin McGee (Dan Young) and Bre McGee (Dillon Pritchett); his grandsons, Harry and Alex Young; his brothers, Pat (Kristin Linner) and Jim (Maureen); his brother-in-law Bill Hawthorne (Ginny); his nephews, Jimmy (Katie Gottas), Colin McGee and Joe Hawthorne; and his niece Caitlin. He is also survived by cousins and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
