He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Brennan and Michael Brennan; his wife Kathleen; his siblings, Sister Anne Brennan, Eileen Danaher and James "Jimmy" Brennan; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Hennesey, Kevin Danaher, Rudolf "Rudy" Roitz and Joanne Stoehr.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Brennan Jr., Mary Coursey (Chuck), Susan Meagher (Brian) and Tracey George (Rob); his grandchildren, Kelsey Anderson (Brian), Patrick Vinge (Jess), Emily Vinge (Ben Woodworth), Amy Qualle (Derek), Charlie Coursey, Annie Coursey, Rosie Coursey, Patrick Meagher, Grant Meagher, Clare Coursey, Brennan George, Ned Coursey, Katherine George and John Meagher; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Olivia Anderson; his siblings, Maureen Hennessey, Kay Brennan and John Brennan (Patsy); and his sister-in-law Elaine Brennan. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In remembrance of life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Tubman, Minnesota's largest provider of domestic violence shelter service, and Mary's Place, Minneapolis, MN.
