He was predeceased by: his father John A. Sommers. He is survived by: his mother Gayle Raymond Sommers; his children, Aubry Marie (Ben), Woksonsommers, Wyatt, Elijah, Veronica, Aaron Michael Sommers and Michael Raymond Sommers; and his siblings, Sarah, Jane Sommers and Peter Sommers (Kerry).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A reception was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church (7301 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN 55428).
