He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Burns and Genevieve Burns; and his brother Doug Burns. He is survived by: his son Stefan Burns (Rachel); his granddaughter Dany; and his siblings, Vicki Thomas, Margie Burns (Reeni), Denny Burns (Kim), Mary Montgomery, Kelly Wilder (Bill) and Jackie Thiebault (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Raphael (7301 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal, MN 55428). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
