He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy and Dorothy Korn Murphy; and his siblings, Billie Parker, Marilyn Bowman, Carol Krejcarek, Colleen Bleskey and Michael Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lyons; his sons, Shawn Murphy (Mary) of Post Falls, Nicky Murphy of Eau Clair and Wisc; and his sister Kathy Goettl (Wisc) of Chippewa Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
