He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Clarence and Doris Irene Mathews (Beland); and his wife Dixie Mathews (Hansen). He is survived by: his siblings, Diana Girard, Windy Mathews, Loralee Stevens (Gary) and Richard Mathews (Cheyrl). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and many friends.
