It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alan Eklund (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard Alan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard Alan farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Eklund and Marion Eklund (Wemyss). He is survived by: his wife Kristie (Klukken); his children, Kari Preston (Matt) and Brian (Martha); his granddaughter Lenore Raykovich; and his brother Neil Eklund of Kentucky.
