He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Goodwin and Dorothy Goodwin (Butcher); his wife Linda Goodwin; his sister Dorothy Swearingen; and his brother-in-law Martin Fletcher.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Numkena; his nephews, Adam and Jeff; his niece Emily; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Fletcher, Marilyn Berryman (Larry), Jerry Fletcher (Maria) and Susan Steele (Andy).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1145 N 5th Ave, St. Charles, IL 60174).
