It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hein (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hein and Rosemary Hein; his siblings-in-law, Lois Hein and Frank Delano; and his nephew Brian Haddorff (Anita).
He is survived by: his wife Sally DeCoursey Haddorff; his siblings, Keith Hein, Richard Hein (Gloria), Bill Hein (Maggie) and Patricia Hein Delano; his children, David Hein (Melissa), Marjorie Brodersen (Jay), Jennifer Hazelton (Chris), Sara Carlson (Mike), Katy Burns (Brandon), Jeff Haddorff (Caroline) and Jon Haddorff (Carla); his grandchildren, Alex, Toni Carlson, Hannah, Daniel Brodersen, Jessica, Paige, Morgan Hazelton, Eli, Jonah Haddorff, Quinn, Zoey Burns and Charlotte Haddorff; his great grandchildren, Maeve, Felix, Madeline and Eleanor; and also Anita Haddorff.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Plymouth Congregational Church (1919 La Salle Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be directed toward the Alzheimer's Association or Thrive Childcare and Family Resource Center in Rochester, MN.
