He was predeceased by: his children, Richard, Sean and Mary Brigid O'Brien; his parents, Robert O'Brien and Verna O'Brien; and his sisters, Julie O'Brien, Beth Ellen Monahan and Sharon O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley O'Brien; his children, Patrick O'Brien (Emily) and Shannon O'Brien; his siblings, Jaunita Caroll, Michael O'Brien, Joseph O'Brien and Steven O'Brien; and his in-laws, Paul and Carol Poster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Grace (5071 Eden Ave, Edina, MN 55436). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
