It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Finley Heegaard (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorothy Goddard and William Roger Heegaard; his brothers, William G, David B, John C and Peter A Heegaard; and his former life partner Eleanor Thompson Heegaard.
He is survived by : his wife Marge Eaton Heegaard; his children, Karen Heegaard (Chuck Legros), Julie Heegaard and Bill Heegaard (Kristyn); his stepsons, Jim Eaton, Jon Eaton and Mike Eaton; his grandchildren, Jon Eaton Jr., Lynndsy Eaton (Monica McDaniel), Alex Heegaard-Legros (Julia Winkles), Leighton Heegaard, Zoé Heegaard-Legros Jagai (Kat Jagai) and Sophia Heegaard; his great grandchild Phoenix McDaniel; and his sister-in-law Anne Heegaard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
