We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 103, Ruth J. Stevens (Minneapolis, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Ruth may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Browning and Sidney Johnson; her husband Henry Stevens; and her siblings, Sid and Kate.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Wilson (Paul) and Marilyn Woodland (Paul). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel (15800 37th Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55446).
