With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sandra Satz of Minneapolis, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on May 17, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Kahan and Esther Kahan; and her brother Hillard Kahan. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Alden (Jeremy) and Michele Meisler (Seth); her grandchildren, Ilana, Nathaniel, Ethan, Celeste and Abby; her former husband Mark Satz (Gail Bender Satz); and her cousins, Susan and Bruce Hammer. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St W, St Louis Park, MN 55416). A shiva was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 and on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Michele and Seth's Home (210 Louisiana Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55426).
The family asks that memorials can be made to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Beth El Synagogue, Aleph Preschool: Hannah Bialick Yom Shalaim Fund or the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of sending flowers.
