She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Bates and Janet Bates; her husband Ralph Hedman; and her son James. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Sharon), Patrick, Peter and Susan Koch (Joseph); her grandchildren, Joel, Paul, Stephen and Serena; and her pet Pepper.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel (15800 37th Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55446). A rosary was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Delmore Plymouth Chapel (15800 37th Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55446). A Mass was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Raphael (7301 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal, MN 55428).
