He is survived by: his wife Gayle Gilman; his children, Szara Loring (Peter), Noah Gilman, Joy Haworth (Will) and Jeshurun Gilman (Kate); his grandchildren, Ethan Gilman (Lydia Ackerley), Oren, Adinah Haworth and Joshua Gilman; and his siblings, Mary Gilman, Kathi Carlson (Cal Bauer) and John Rock (Lori).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Evangelical Free Church (5150 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55417). A reception will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers Gil would have wanted a donation to his favorite charities.
