He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Potter and Charles Potter; his stepmother Gretel; and his brother Richard (Shirley). He is survived by: his wife Betty Zick; his children, Tammy Salhoff (Eric), Teresa, Tracie and Thomas (Kim); his grandchildren, Chris, Kelton, Nick (Kayla), Noah and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Evelyn.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Open House (1251 13th Ave W, West Fargo, ND 58078).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Kingsmen at Faith Journey Lutheran Church of West Fargo or the Roger Maris Cancer Center.
