He is survived by: his wife Debra Boal (Karsjens); his children, Eric Boal (Beth) of Minnetonka, MN, Steve Boal (Kaia) of Lino Lakes, MN and Elizabeth Moss (Jacob) of Ames, IA; his grandchildren, Fiona, Della, Elsie, Sonja Boal, Calvin, Eleanor and Alfred Moss; and his siblings, Scott Boal (Lana) of Everett, WA and Bonnie Allen (Jim) of Ankeny, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
