VanQuilla left this world on June 8, 2025 at the age of 52, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Buckner; his sister Donita Williams; and his grandparents, Queen, Theodore Smith, Otis and Mary Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his children, Quiana Cox, Gayneatha McNair, JaVae Williams, Johhny Williams and Frederick Williams; his father VanQuilla Smith Sr.; and his siblings, Vansetta Smith and Billie Buckner. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crystal Lake Chapel (3816 Penn Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55412). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
