He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lucas and Lambert Lucas; and his brothers, Richard and Dean. He is survived by: his wife Claudette Hajny (Hajny); his daughters, Juliet "Jill" Keller and Sara Peterman (John); his grandchildren, Lucas, Jack, William, Andrew and Emily Sophia; his siblings, Jeanne Evenson, Luke Lucas (Marilyn), Paul Lucas (Wendy), Barbara Thompson (Dale) and John Lucas (Patricia); and his godchild Confirmandi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated in Bill's memory to ProLife Across America or The Catholic United Financial Foundation for their Catholic school grant program.
