He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Parks and Mary Ann Bloomstrand; and his brothers, Dennis Parks, Perry Parks and Eric Bloomstrand.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnne; his children, Katie Sieben (Kevin), Gina Berg (Jacob), Andrew Parks (Sarah), April Parks, Amanda Filiowich, Ali Bergstrom (Mark), Aaron Patten and Amber Lynn Patten; his stepfather Steve Bloomstrand; and his siblings, Kathy Lasar (Joe), John Parks, Steve Bloomstrand Jr. (Brenda), Peggy Bloomstrand and Patty Klinger (John). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
