He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hartmann (Myslinski) and Harry Hartmann; his parents-in-law, Anton and Emma Karls; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Hartmann.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Heidi Hartmann and Dan Hartmann (Dawn); and his brother Ken Hartmann (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
