He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gawarecki and Lucille Gawarecki (Van De Veire); his wife Chrystal Mae of Paul's Lutheran Church; his brother Vince Gawerecki; his in-laws, Delores and Robert Schaffer; and his nephew Doug Docken.
He is survived by: his children, Chadwick (Janelle) of Arco and Caren Buysse (Curtis) of Minneota; his brother Lon Gawarecki of Minneota; his nieces, Pam Docken of Blaine, Kym Rudberg (Paul) of Lino Lakes, Brenda Koening (Dale) of Clear Lake, WI and Mandy Koster (Brandon) of Shakopee; and his sister-in-law Shirley Gawerecki of Taunton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
