He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Yokiel and Marie Yokiel (Sonnek); his siblings, Mary Derner (Louis), Ann Dauk (Jerome), Ruth DeWitte (Bob), Rose Wilson (Lowell) and Jim Yokiel (Melva); and his brothers-in-law, Wilmar Vaughn, Ken Kuntz and John Pocius.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Hassing; his sisters, Eva Vaughn (Texas), Joan Kuntz (Nevada) and Anita Pocius (California); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Fleischmann (Florida), Marie Hassing (Minnesota) and Richard Gander (Colorado). He is also survived by thirty nine nieces and nephews.
