He is survived by: his wife Rada Saric; his brother George; and his pet Rudy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Our walks in Purgatory park in Minnetonka will seem much emptier now without Alex and his dog(s) to cheer us. I remember vividly Rudy when he was just a little pup, learning from Alex and Lenny. And I remember Lenny as the years went by and the steps got more difficult, but each day he was still there, tail wagging and happy to see his 2 and 4-legged friends. And I remember the tears welling up in Alex's eyes whenever he spoke of Lenny. Those memories will always be with me in the park. Todd K.”
