He was predeceased by: his wife Marybeth; and his parents, Edwin Stull and Ella Stull. He is survived by: his son Jason Stull (Lisa); his stepchildren, Mark McCoy (Jodie), Robert McCoy and Amy Reichenberger (Tony); his grandchildren, Andy, Dana McCoy and Oscar Reichenberger; and his sister Diana Huseth (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials are preferred to Richfield United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, directed to the Music Fund or church ministries.
