He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Holec and Lucille D. Cornetet (Esberg Holec); his stepfather Richard "Dick" Cornetet; his grandparents, Henry R., Lucille M. Holec (Lambrecht), John V. Esberg and Anna Esberg (Kump); and also Edith "Kitty" Holec (Kimberlin).
He is survived by: his uncle Ken; his children, Juliana and Gavin Holec; the mother of his children Sheri Holec of Plymouth, MN; and his siblings, Henry "Vic" Holec (Mary) of Mendota Heights, MN, Lucia Schmitz (Craig Greenwald) of Shakopee, MN and Doreen Ciaramitaro (Fred) of Washington, MI. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
