With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Harn of Minnetonka, Minnesota, born in Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Meland and Margaret Meland; her husband Claire Jerome Harn of Veblen; her son Mark Douglas; and her siblings, Betty Lou Meland and Gary Meland.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Harn (Joan), Denise DuBois (Peter), Renaye Harn (Kimmy) and Michelle Lukkason (Chuck); her grandchildren, Alex Harn, Lisa Elliott (Nathan), Tyler DuBois, Erin DuBois (Adam), Hannah, Grace, Emma Lukkason and Nathan Harn (Vera); her great grandchildren, Win, Amelia and Aiden Harn; and her siblings, Robert Meland (Joanne), Georgia Tostenson (Arnold) and Mary Balvin (Jim).
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org) or the Validation Training Institute (http://www.vfvalidation.org), which trains family members and caregivers to more effectively connect and communicate with elders who have cognitive decline.
