He was predeceased by: his parents, Mollie Weinberg and Meyer Weinberg; his brother Robert Weinberg; his parents-in-law, Ann and Irwin Blumberg; and his siblings-in-law, Gwenn and Allen Cohen.

He is survived by: his wife Gail; his sons, Eric (Heidi) and Brett (Julie Silverman); his grandchildren, Emily, Amanda, Alyson, Andrew and Evan; and his nieces and nephews, Lonne Weinberg, Shoshana Wortman (Jordan Lublin), Moriah, Noah Wortman (Taryn) and Leo.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Richard's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Grace Hospice-Minnesota, or donor's choice.
