She was predeceased by: her husband Irwin Benowitz; her parents, Max Rappaport and Esther Rappaport; her siblings, Joel Rappaport, Naomi Kaplan, Serene Paletz and Rivi Galinson; her brothers-in-law, Robert Kaplan and Leonard Paletz; and her niece Annette Paletz.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Field (Richard) and David Marschinke (Lisa); her grandchildren, Benjamin Field, Evan Field (Kristina Whitfield), Jonathan Field (Sophia), Ellie Marschinke, Daniel Marschinke and Carly Marschinke; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Taylor Field; her brother Marshall Rappaport (Susan); and her brother-in-law Michael Galinson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Jack Mosow Funeral Service (5225 Barry St W, St Louis Park, MN 55416). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
