We announce the death of Semen Paley (Minnetonka, Minnesota), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 99. Semen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Semen will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Semen will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Semen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac and Asya; and his wife Danya Paley (Soloviova). He is survived by: his daughters, Irina and Jane (Gennady); and his grandchildren, Alex (Shodee) and Anna (Ryan). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation (10500 Hillside Ln W, Minnetonka, MN 55305).
