He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Peterson and Alice Peterson (Schaffer); his wife Carol Sandberg; and his siblings, Dennis Peterson and Sonja Larson.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Waege (Steve) and Scott Peterson; his stepdaughter Dayna Adrian (Mike); his grandchildren, Joel Foss, Cortney Foss (Nicole), Jacie Blenker (Mike), Dylan Lemcke, Nick Rice (Tammy), Travis Peterson (Maranda) and April Peterson; his great grandchildren, Brady, Joey Foss, Abigail, Hailie Blenker, Kaden, Colson, Cooper, Kinsley Rice, Amaya and Branson Peterson; his sisters, Debra Ochsendorf and Leita Dvergsten (Lee); and his pet Riley. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
