He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Vargas and Jacinta Vargas (Mendoza); and his sister Adela Mireles. He is survived by : his wife Maria Luisa; his children, Armando II (Hayley) of Madison, Fernando and Lianette; his grandchildren, Armando III, Aurora and Millie; and his siblings, Guadalupe Garza (Armando), Celia Zepeda (George), Janie Strilchuk (Eugene), Carmen Duron (Mike), Gloria Vargas, Josefina Garcia, Joe Vargas, Robert Vargas and Mario Vargas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
