He was predeceased by : his parents, James Thompson and Elsie Thompson (Haunts); his granddaughter Amanda Flinn; and his brothers, Warren Thompson and David Thompson.
He is survived by : his wife Arlene Krueger; his sons, Arne Thompson Jr. (Gomer) of Brainerd and Troy Thompson of Brainerd; his stepsons, Jeff Flinn Jr. (Heidi) of Montevideo and Jarrod Flinn (Brigitte) of Montevideo; his grandchildren, Katie Flinn (Derek Wold), Kayla Beatty, Huck Flinn, Jordan Flinn (Kristi Caviezel) and RJ Haas; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Ryder, Jackson, Miles, Bennet, Trinity and Audrey; and his siblings, Pete Thompson (Sonja) of Illinois, Joan Roberts (Donald) of Minnesota and Suzie Thompson of Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
