It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Nokleby of Montevideo, Minnesota, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Nokleby and Emma Nokleby. He is survived by : his daughters, Susan Nokleby, Gail Strickler, Gwen Nokleby, Janet Nokleby and Jill Kaiser (John); his daughter-in-law Susan Nokleby; his grandchildren, Jessica Schwendemann (Kaleb), Adam Nokleby, Buck Eide, Bjorn Eide (Brandy McQueen), Stacie Olson (Kevin), Erin Commerford (Shawn), Matthew Bowler (Carrie), Heidi Thompson (Mike), Emily Bowler (Ben Vlaminck), Michael Bowler (Madison Ihrke), Emma Lammawin (Garrett Dibene) and Alexis Lammawin; his great grandchildren, Elsa, Esmae and Emersyn Schwendemann; his grandchildren, Asanti Eide, Abigail (Jared Milinkovich), Sam Olson, Jake LeBrun, Mason, Jocelyn Commerford, Ava, Nick Bowler, Brayden, Cole, Isaac Thompson and Adrian Bowler; his great great grandchildren, Jayce, Valencia, Sonny LeBrun and Murphy Milinkovich; his wife Eileen; his brothers, Omer, Ernest, Minfred, Juleen and Vernal; his son Steven Nokleby; his son-in-law Randy Strickler; his grandson Thor Eide; and his parents-in-law, Ellen and Oliver Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, or Lions Club International Foundation.
