Curtis Nordaune Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Nordaune of Montevideo, Minnesota, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Curtis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Curtis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Curtis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jenny Nordaune (Soma) and Elvin Nordaune; his wife Betty Pederson of Starbuck, MN.; and his brothers, Harlis, David and Marvin. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Baxter (3748 US-212, Montevideo, MN 56265). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Baxter Cemetery.
