He is survived by: his adoptive father Dennis (LaVonne Sundlee); his parents, Dennis Sundlee and LaVonne Sundlee; his sister Darci Molde (Nathan); his sibling's children, Christopher (Heather) and Cali (Grayson); his aunts, MaryAnn Jaenisch (Gordon), Sharon Olson of Everett, WA and Shirley Sundlee of Willmar; his uncle Loren Sundlee (Deb) of Yakima, WA; and his great-aunt Ardath Johnson of Pierz. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Derek worked for Rust Consulting in Minneapolis until COVID ended his career.
