He is survived by: his girlfriend Lorna Odell; his daughter Trisha Lien (Brendan); his grandchildren, Tucker and Amelia; his son Steve Hering (Molly); his stepson Jonathon DenHartigh; his stepgrandchildren, Audrey, Jeffrey and Angie Siverhus; his siblings, Bob Hering (Amy), John Hering (Lori), Jim Hering (Cindy), Rick Hering and Sandy Steffensen (Dave); Asher and Adrian. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
