He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmont Waters and Lucile Waters (Atchinson); his wife Carol Saue of Savior's Lutheran Church; his brother Lyle Waters (Elaine); and his brothers-in-law, Ray Hunstad and Bert Dally.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Bredeson (David) of Granite Falls and Jeff Waters of Big Lake; his grandchildren, Meghan Bosch (Chris), Kaylee Waters, Kaleb Waters and Korah Waters; his great grandchildren, Haddie and Landrie Bosch; and his sisters, Beverly Hunstad and Virginia Dally. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the TeBeest Funeral Home (629 N 3rd St, Montevideo, MN 56265). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (222 N 5th St, Montevideo, MN 56265).
