With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Peterson of Montevideo, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Emery and Florence Emery (Anderson); and her brother Bill Emery. She is survived by: her husband Mark Peterson of Montevideo; her children, John Peterson (Hannah) and Annie Peterson (Manuel); her grandchildren, Novianna, Ocoee, Haran and Manuelito; her siblings, Jeri Blom (Fred), Janet McClung (Dan) of Akeley, MN and Bob Emery (Terri); and her siblings' children, Andrew, Carrie, Emily, Adam, Brittni, Bryton, Ben and Riley.
