She is survived by: her children, Sonja Peterson of Montevideo, Jon Peterson (Jana) of Moorhead and Leif Peterson (Lynette) of Dawson; her grandchildren, Perla Peterson Gasca (Raul), Katie Spicer (Dylan), Anna Esala (Micah), David Peterson (Rachel Williams), Lindee Nelson (Jesse) and Jessica Olson; her great grandchildren, Leo Rodriguez (Leonardo), Adry Raul Gasca (Adriel), Viktor Spicer and Broady Nelson; and her brother Mark Folkestad. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
