He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Teresa Krohn) of Montevideo, Mark (Sue Boettcher) of Montevideo and Tom (Barbara) of Little Canada, MN; his grandchildren, Owen Hein, Emily Bankole (Peter), Hannah Hein, Christopher Hein (Delphine), Celine Hein (Oscar Morales), Carson Hein (Ellie), Aimee Hein, Jack Hein, Tarah Rasmussen (Darrin) and Leah Lines (Nik); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Josiah, Amayah, Thibault, Victor, Arthur, Fiora and Luca; his close friend LaVonne Daugherty; and his brothers, Richard and Bill Jr..
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the United Methodist Church of Montevideo Memorial Fund, Montevideo Area Community Foundation or Eagles Wings.
