It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Phillips of Montevideo, Minnesota, born in Butte, Montana, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mackey and Evelyn Mackey (Smith); her husband Paul Phillips; her children, Mary Ellen Phillips, Peter Phillips, Patricia Tanhoff and Thomas Phillips; her grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips, Casey Jo Schulte and Mark Tanhoff; and her siblings, Janice Walker and Tom Mackey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Little (Lindsay) of Grand Marais, Jodi Phillips of Montevideo and Shelly Elkington (Tim) of Montevideo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
