He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hanson and Sadie Hanson (Norem). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Antonson; and his children, Dennis Hanson (Julie), Karen Kaatz (Stan), Shelly Anderson (Steve) and Scott Hanson (Sara). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Montevideo Fire Department, Minnesota Veterans Home Montevideo, Relay for Life and CCM Health Ambulance.
